The Rapid City Fire Department says it responded to five overnight fires in less than seven hours, including four that are considered suspicious and occurred in the same area. The Department said the fires were set in trash cans, dumpsters or shipping containers Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
One Rapid City blaze set in a garbage can moved to a garage full of items and a vehicle, and caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.
