The Yankton Bucks are rated second in Class AA Boys Basketball in the South Dakota Media Pre-Season poll. Sioux Falls Roosevelt topped the pre-season ranking, followed by Yankton, Brandon Valley, Washington and Harrisburg. In the Class A boys basketball poll, Dakota Valley is first with Vermillion rated sixth. DeSmet leads the Class B boys ranking with Viborg-Hurley in fourth place. Sioux Falls O’Gorman, Winner and Corsica-Stickney are the top rated teams in the Girls Basketball pre-season media poll.
