The University of South Dakota women’s basketball team led most of the game, but 18th-ranked Gonzaga University rallied for a 54-50 victory in the Sanford Pentagon yesterday. Senior Liv Korngable led the Coyotes with a career-high 20 points and 6 assists and she made the All-Tournament Team in the Crossover Classic.
Last night in Brookings, the South Dakota State women’s basketball team rolled past Creighton University 66-47 as senior Myah Selland topped the Jacks with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
In this week’s NCAA Division One women’s basketball poll, South Dakota State is rated 26th in the nation and South Dakota is ranked 28th.
