The Yankton Gazelles gymnastics squad began their season last night with a second place in a triangular at the Summit Activities Center. Defending state runner-up Mitchell had a 143.2 score, Yankton was second with a 129.95 and Parkston/Ethan/Hanson totaled 108.6. Gazelles junior Alison Johnson took second place in the All-Around with a 34.7 score. Yankton will compete in the Sioux Falls Gymnastics Invitational Saturday at Washington High School.
