Three Yankton Inmates Placed on Escape Status

Three minimum security state prison inmates from Yankton have been placed on Escape status.  Inmates Seth Boocock, Corey Bales, and Matthew Fritz-Chappell all left the Yankton Community Work Center without authorization after 11:00 Friday night.

Boocock is a 30-year-old white male, 5’9” tall weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and serving a ten-year sentence for Aggravated Assault.

Bales is a 30-year-old white male, 5’11” tall weighing 175 pounds with brown hair and serving up to 15 years total for Identity Theft, Forgery and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Fritz-Chappell is a 25-year-old white male, 6-feet tall and 200 pounds with brown hair.  He is serving up to seven years total for Possession of a Controlled Substance from Yankton County and Possession of Alcohol or Marijuana by an Inmate from Bon Homme County.

Leaving a non-secure correctional facility without authorization is Second-Degree Escape punishable by up to five years in prison.
