The University of South Dakota men’s basketball team lost their season opener by an 84-61 score Wednesday against the University of Colorado. In the loss, Stanley Umude topped the one-thousand point level in his college career as he led the Coyotes with 24 points. USD will face Drake University today.
The USD women’s basketball squad will face the number-one team in the nation tomorrow. The Coyotes take on South Carolina in their season opener at 2:00 Saturday in the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
