With the approval by the Yankton City Commission of a special events parking request last night, plans for this year’s Holiday Festival of Lights are moving forward.
Events Coordinator Brittany LaCroix says two changes for this year will be an extended parade route and a virtual tree lighting ceremony.
LaCroix says another change is holding the event’s fireworks display at the beginning of the parade instead when it is finished.
Yankton’s annual Holiday Festival of Lights is set for December 3rd.
