The Lewis and Clark Theater Company has been selected by 100 Women of Yankton as the latest recipient of a donation from their members of at least eleven thousand, eight hundred dollars.
Steering Committee Member Kristi Tacke says since its beginnings, 100 Women of Yankton has grown to a membership of over one hundred eighty.
Tacke says the collective giving concept used by 100 Women can have a significant impact on the non-profit agency that is selected to receive their semi-annual donation.
Tacke says the winning recipient is selected by a direct vote of the membership.
Tacke says other organizations nominated this fall were: Missouri Valley Pregnancy Resource Center, Boys & Girls Club of Yankton, River City Gymnastics and Cheer and Avera Medical Group Behavioral Health, Palliative Care and Pain Management.
