The Yankton School District is reporting a budget just north of $44 million for 2026-2027.
YSD Superintendent, Dr. Wayne Kindle, says the general fund is down $87,802 from last year.
Kindle says the capital outlay is higher this year due to some maintenance projects.
Kindle says this year’s budget is a $625,000 increase from last year’s budget.
