The Yankton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an aircraft crash that occurred Friday near the intersection of South Dakota Highway 50 and Highway 314.
Initial reports indicate that two occupants were inside the aircraft at the time of the crash. One individual was transported by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries, while the second occupant did not seek medical attention.
Law enforcement personnel will remain on scene as the investigation continues. The public is asked to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel and investigators to safely conduct their work.
