Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Soccer split their doubleheader with Midland last night in Fremont, Nebraska.
The Lancer women improved to 4-0 in conference play with a 3-0 win in game one, tying the program record for GPAC wins in a single season. Alyssa Rios, Angelina Hopwood, and Keely Draheim all scored in the win.
The Lancer men had their comeback fall short in a 4-3 loss. The Lancers trailed 3-0 after the first 35 minutes, before Jack D’Amore made it 3-1 prior to halftime. Josh Ndoli and James Hughes would both score in the second half, but Midland would add another as well for the win.
The Lancers are back on the road again on Saturday, taking on the Dordt Defenders in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Yankton Gazelles Volleyball will host Sioux Falls Christian tonight in an inter-class matchup.
The Gazelles are 6-7 on the year, currently sitting 11th in the Class AA standings, with the Chargers enter as the #3 ranked team in Class A at 15-7.

Yankton Bucks Golf will have their final competition before the AA State Tournament today, as they host the Mitchell Kernels for the annual Marchand Cup.

The Cedar Catholic Trojans look to continue their dominance on the football field tomorrow night, as they travel to Battle Creek to face the Braves.
The Trojans are 5-0 on the year, with every game decided by at least 24 points. In total, Cedar has outscored their opponents 223-24, an average margin of victory of 39.8 points per game.
