The Yankton County Commission is set to discuss raising the sales tax Tuesday night.
The 2026 legislature approved a measure that allows counties to raise their sales tax up to a half-cent.
The commissioners will also discuss a HazMat plan and safety manual and a surplus boat, as well as revoking the Swan lake Wind conditional-use permit.
The meeting will be held at the Yankton County Government Center at 6pm and is open to public attendance.
