A Yankton man has been sentenced to 45 years in federal prison for Production of Child Pornography.
Robert Barbetti, 34, had been using social media platforms like Snapchat and Wink to target minors and coerce them into producing sexual exploitation materials between 2018 and 2023.
Barbetti contacted minors from Texas and Virginia to commit indecent acts, some of which were incestuous.
Barbetti was indicted by a federal grand jury in 2024. Barbetti pleaded guilty in April of this year.
