After a lengthy discussion at Tuesday’s meeting, the Yankton County Commission decided to postpone a decision on a temporary moratorium on data centers in the county.
The commission planned on making a decision on the moratorium last night but Commissioner Wanda Howey-Fox pointed out that the commission is required to publish in the newspaper that the discussion will be happening at least 10 days in advance.
The commission decided to continue their discussion at their next meeting on July 21st.
