The Yankton County Search and Rescue team hosted their annual life jacket giveaway on Thursday.
Search and rescue team member, Cara Conrad-Koupal , says the event is a great for search and rescue to be able to connect with the community.
Conrad-Koupal says the search and rescue team is compiled of local volunteers.
Conrad-Koupal says search and rescue gave out around 300 life jackets to kids for free during this year’s event.
