The Nebraska Department of Transportation held a meeting in Crofton this week to discuss the plans to add a roundabout at the Highway 81 and Highway 12 intersection.
Kevin Domogalla, with the Nebraska DOT, says the feedback they received was positive.
Domogalla says there have been a number of fatalities at that intersection over the years.
Domogalla says the DOT hopes to put the project out for bid soon and start construction in the spring of 2027.
