Once again, the Yankton School District will be taking care of the nutritional needs of the community’s children during the summer.
Laura Horacek, Child Nutrition Supervisor, says that they will be distributing meals out of the Middle School Cafeteria 11am to 1pm on Tuesdays and Fridays…
Horacek says the program will run between June 2nd through August 7th, and talks about the registration requirement for parents…
Horacek notes that all the meals that they will be distributing this summer are designed to be cold meals so there is no worry about how a child would heat them up unsupervised.
