The Yankton Rotary Club Yankton Medical Clinic, and several other organizations partnered together on Wednesday to give away bicycle helmets to every second grader in the Yankton School District.
Yankton Mayor and Rotary Club President, Mike Villanueva, says 252 second graders in Yankton received a personally fitted bike helmet.
Other organizations involved include the Yankton School District, Ace Bike & Fitness, South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine Students, Yankton Police Department, and the City of Yankton.
