The two-day event will be held at the Mozingo Lake Golf Course in Maryville, Missouri. Tee time is set for noon.
The South Dakota-Nebraska High School Basketball All-Star Game will be held this Sunday at Cimpl Arena in Yankton.
The event will consist of a girls’ game at 2:00 PM and a boys’ game at 4:00. Several area athletes are set to compete. Members of the boys’ teams include Yankton’s Owen Eidsness, Freeman’s Tate Sorensen, and Viborg-Hurley’s Brady Schroedermeier.
The girls’ rosters include Cedar Catholic’s Addison Walter, Crofton’s Jaisie Janssen, and Wynot’s Addison Sharpe.
Mount Marty recruits Anna Binde of Tea Area, Drew Terkildsen of Philip, and Halle Peterson of Rapid City Stevens will also compete in the girls’ game.
The South Dakota Coyotes are moving on to the “Great 8” round of the WNIT following last night’s 73-57 win over Pepperdine.
Patience Williams was the catalyst for the Coyotes offense, scoring all 14 points in USD’s 14-0 run to start the game. Williams would finish the game with 20 points, tying Angelina Robles for the team high.
The Coyotes will host Montana State in the Great 8 on Sunday. Tip-off from Vermillion is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
