Yankton Bucks Wrestling went 1-1 in their two duals yesterday, falling to Watertown 58-19 and defeating Beresford/Alcester-Hudson 38-35.
Shayce Platt, Edky Amaro, CorBin Sayler, and Damian Janish all picked up wins against Watertown. Amaro and Sayler also won their matches against Beresford/Alcester-Hudson to finish the meet undefeated.
The Bucks return to the mats tomorrow, as they are set to compete in a varsity tournament at Watertown High School.
Yankton Gazelles Wrestling split their season-opening triangular last night, losing to Watertown and defeating Beresford/Alcester-Hudson.
Only two matches were held between Yankton and Watertown. Winry Yaggie picked up a win for the Gazelles, while Olivia Anderson was victorious at 120 for the Arrows. All other points were decided by forfeit.
The Gazelles had three matches against BAH, going 2-1. Chloe Caton and Alexis Brenden picked up the two Yankton wins.
The Gazelles travel to Lennox for their next slate of matches on Tuesday, December 9th.
The South Dakota Coyotes will be in Macon, Georgia, tomorrow for the Second Round of the FCS Playoffs.
The Coyotes are 9-4 on the year coming off their 38-17 win over Drake in the opening round.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits will meet the Montana Grizzlies in the FCS Playoffs tomorrow afternoon in Missoula, Montana.
The Jackrabbits impressed with a 41-3 win over New Hampshire in round one after dropping four of their last five regular-season games.
