The Wynot Blue Devils are the 2025 NSAA D2 Football State Champions, defeating St. Mary’s yesterday 71-60.
Quarterback Devin Brummer threw for 394 yards and 7 touchdowns in the win. Kotner Koch was the leading receiver with 13 catches for 265 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Wynot finishes their season with a 12-1 overall record and a state championship.
The Crofton Warriors fell to Sandy Creek yesterday in the NSAA D1 Football State Championship.
The Cougars would earn a 66-26 victory. Sandy Creek QB Kam Sealy recorded 9 total touchdowns in the win, 4 passing and 5 rushing. Tyson Jackson rushed for 171 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Warriors.
Crofton ends their season as the Class D1 Runner-up with a 10-3 overall record.
The Yankton Quarterback Club will not have their regular meeting tomorrow due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Meetings resume on December 3rd with University of South Dakota athletic director Jon Schemmel as the featured guest speaker.
Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Basketball returns to action tonight, hosting Concordia in a GPAC Doubleheader.
Both Lancer squads enter with a 2-1 conference record. Both Concordia squads are undefeated in GPAC play, with the women still perfect on the season at 7-0 overall.

The South Dakota Coyotes had their volleyball season come to an end yesterday with a 3-2 loss to St. Thomas in the Summit League Tournament Semifinals.
Ava Ball led the Coyotes with 20 kills in the loss, followed by 12 each from Amanda Loschen and Lauren Medeck. Avery Van Hook recorded 58 assists.
USD ends their season with a 20-9 overall record.
The South Dakota State Jackrabbits advanced to the Summit League Volleyball Tournament Championship last night with a 3-0 sweep of North Dakota State.
The Jackrabbit defense was the difference in the win, recording 14 blocks as a unit, led by 8 from Madison Burr.
The Jackrabbits will face St. Thomas today in the Summit League Championship match. First serve from Brookings is set for 6:00 PM.
South Dakota Coyotes Women’s Basketball returns to action tonight, hosting Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Vermillion.
The 5-0 Coyotes are receiving votes in the latest AP Top 25 poll, coming off an 85-44 win over Valparaiso last Friday.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball is in Cancun, Mexico, for their next two games, beginning tonight against Utah Valley.
The 4-2 Jackrabbits are coming off back-to-back wins, 94-46 over Peru State and 105-58 over Georgia State.
