Yankton Bucks Hockey is 2-0 to start their season after an impressive pair of wins this weekend.
Yankton began their season with a 10-1 win over Huron, with eleven different players recording a goal or an assist.
Yankton was dominant again on Saturday, shutting out Sioux Center 15-0. Tucker Renken led the way with 9 points, tallying 6 goals and 3 assists. Kylen O’Connor followed with 6 points on 3 goals and 3 assists.
The Bucks are back home on Saturday, November 29th, as they host the Mitchell Marlins. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:15 PM Saturday.
Mount Marty Men’s Basketball suffered their first GPAC loss on Saturday, falling to Morningside 86-63.
Sutton Arend led the charge for the Lancers, scoring 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds to lead the team in both categories.
The Lancers are back in action tomorrow night, hosting Concordia.
Mount Marty women’s Basketball is 2-1 in GPAC play following Saturday’s 86-83 overtime win over Morningside in Sioux City.
Lacey Sprakel led the Lancers in scoring and rebounding, posting 28 points and 7 rebounds. The Lancer defense recorded 13 steals as a unit.

The Gayville-Volin Raiders finished as the Consolation Champions (5th place) at this past weekend’s Class B Volleyball State Tournament.
The Raiders defeated Harding County 3-1 and Parkston 3-0 to take home 5th after their opening round loss to Northwestern 3-2.
Top-seeded Chester would go on to be crowned Class B Champions. In the other two classes, Dakota Valley took home the Class A title, and Harrisburg were the Class AA Champions.
The South Dakota Coyotes are the #11 seed in the FCS Playoffs, as they prepare to host Drake next Saturday.
USD finished the regular season 2nd in the Missouri Valley with an 8-4 overall record, 6-2 in conference play.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers fell to Penn State on Saturday, 37-10, at Beaver Stadium.
The loss moves the Huskers’ record to 7-4 on the year heading into Friday’s regular season finale against Iowa in Lincoln.
South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball outlasted South Carolina State yesterday afternoon, picking up an 82-81 victory.
Jordan Crawford would hit the go-ahead layup with under 30 seconds remaining to win the game. Crawford posted a game-high 25 points in the win.
The Coyotes are off until next Saturday, when they take on Air Force in a neutral site matchup in Rapid City.
South Dakota Coyotes Women’s Basketball remained undefeated on Friday, defeating Valparaiso 85-44 in Vermillion.
Patience Williams led USD with a 13-point, 16-rebound double-double. Elise Turruniates finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double of her own.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball improved to 4-2 on Friday with a 105-58 win over Georgia State.
Yankton alum Matthew Mors led the Jackrabbits with 18 points in the win, followed by 17 points from Damon Wilkinson.
The Jackrabbits are in Cancun for their next two games, beginning tomorrow night against Utah Valley. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
South Dakota Coyotes Volleyball will take on St. Thomas this afternoon in the Summit League Tournament Semifinals.
The Coyotes swept the Tommies in their two regular-season meetings, winning 3-1 and 3-0, respectively.
