South Dakota Coyotes Head Women’s Basketball Coach Carrie Eighmey (Amy) will be the featured guest speaker at today’s Yankton Quarterback Club meeting.
Eighmey is in her second year at the helm for the Coyotes. After an 11-20 season last year, the Coyotes are 5-0 to start this season.
A meal will be available for purchase beginning at 11:15 AM, with the program scheduled for noon. The public is invited to attend.
Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Basketball travels to Fremont, Nebraska, this afternoon for a GPAC matchup against Midland.
The Lancer men enter with a 2-4 record following an impressive 84-71 victory over Dordt on Saturday, while the 4-1 Lancer women look to rebound from their first loss of the season this past weekend.
The women play first at 6:00 PM, with the men to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 5:15 with Tehl Tanner on the call.
South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball travels to Columbia, Missouri, tomorrow night to take on the Missouri Tigers.
The Coyotes are 3-2 on the year following three straight wins. The Coyotes are being led by Junior Guard Isaac Bruns, who is averaging 17.4 points per game.
Tip-off from Columbia between the Coyotes and Tigers is scheduled for 7:00 PM Thursday evening.
South Dakota State Women’s Basketball will take on Gonzaga tomorrow night, inside the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
The Jackrabbits are undefeated this year at 5-0. Brooklyn Meyer leads the way, averaging 26 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.8 blocks per game.
Tip-off from Sioux Falls between the Jackrabbits and the Bulldogs is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow night.
South Dakota State Volleyball has completed a perfect 16-0 Summit League season, following their 3-0 sweep of North Dakota earlier this week.
The Jackrabbits swept their opponents in 7 of their 16 conference wins, and were only taken to 5 sets on three occasions, twice by Omaha and once by USD.
SDSU enters the Summit League Tournament as the #1 overall seed. The tournament will be held in Brookings beginning on November 23rd.
The South Dakota Coyotes wrapped up their Summit League season earlier this week with a 12-4 conference record.
Following a 1-2 start to the league season, the Coyotes nearly ran the table, losing only two more matches, both to top-seeded South Dakota State.
The Coyotes enter the tournament as the #2 overall seed. The tournament will be held in Brookings beginning on November 23rd.
