South Dakota State Athletic Director Justin Sell will be the featured guest speaker at today’s Yankton Quarterback Club meeting.
A meal will be available for purchase beginning at 11:15 PM, with speakers taking the stage at noon at the River Rock Event Center in Yankton.
The public is invited to attend.
Yankton Gazelles Volleyball travels to Sioux Falls on Thursday to take on the Lincoln Patriots in the SoDak 16.
The Gazelles enter the postseason 13th in Class AA with an 11-15 overall record, winning 5 of their last 6 matches.
The Patriots are the #4 seed in the Class with an 18-5 record. Lincoln defeated Yankton in the regular season 3-0 on September 23rd.
First serve from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls is scheduled for 6:30 PM on Thursday. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:00 with Brayden Butler on the call.
Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Bowling swept the Tea Area Titans earlier this week in a boys and girls doubleheader.
The Gazelles improved to 1-1 with a 45-5 win over the Titans. Avery Turner led Yankton with a 559 series, posting a high game of 212. Kayden Bye had a high game of 235 for Yankton.
The Bucks are now 2-0 with their 47-3 win over Tea Area. Jaxon Parmelee posted a 248 high game and a 727 series to lead the Bucks.
Yankton has their home opener on November 21st, hosting Dell Rapids at the Yankton Bowl at 4:00 PM.
South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball hosts Southern Indiana this evening inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
The Coyotes are 1-2 on the year following a 121-65 win over Ozark Christian College on Sunday.
Tip-off from Vermillion between the Coyotes and the Screamin’ Eagles is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

The Coyotes are undefeated to start their season at 3-0, coming off a 104-54 win over Buena Vista on Monday.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball heads west for a matchup with the Oregon Ducks tonight in Eugene, Oregon.
The 2-1 Jackrabbits are coming off their first loss of the season on Sunday, 65-58 at the hands of Northern Iowa.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM.
South Dakota State Women’s Basketball improved to 3-0 last night with a dominant 91-60 win over Murray State.
Brooklyn Meyer led the Jackrabbits in points with 24 and rebounds with 7 in the win. She also tied Hadley Thul (Tool) and Emilee Fox with a team-high 4 assists.
The Jackrabbits will play in Rapid City for their next game, as they take on Montana at the Monument on Saturday in a neutral-site game.
