Yankton City Commission to Discuss Special Events in Meridian District at Monday Meeting

The Yankton City Commission will revive the discussion on the future of special events in the Meridian District at tonight’s meeting.

City of Yankton Special Events Coordinator Luke Youmans, says the commission tabled the conversation at a September meeting after much debate.

Youmans says after the meeting the city sent out a survey to businesses in the Meridian District to gather more input.

The commission’s meeting starts tonight at 6 pm.
