Yankton Gazelles Soccer ended their regular season with a 4-2 win over Sioux Falls Washington last night in Sioux Falls.
With the win, the Gazelles are 8-3-3 entering the postseason. As it stands, the Gazelles would enter the AA Playoffs as the #7 seed, hosting Rapid City Central in the first round.
Official playoff matchups will be decided following the conclusion of the AA season on Saturday.
Yankton Bucks Soccer ended their regular season on Thursday with a 3-2 loss to Sioux Falls Washington.
The loss drops the Bucks to 9th in the Class AA standings with an 8-5-1 record. As it stands, the Bucks would travel to Sturgis on Tuesday for an opening-round playoff matchup with the Scoopers.

Yankton Gazelles Volleyball was defeated by Sioux Falls Christian last night, 3-0, in Sioux Falls.
The Chargers claimed the match 25-15, 25-14, 25-13 over the three sets. Burkley Olson led the Gazelles with 4 kills. Alaina Nelson and Brenna Elwood each recorded 10 assists.
The Gazelles are off until October 9th, when they wrap up their five-match road trip against Brandon Valley.
Yankton Bucks Cross Country took first place in the South Sioux City Cross Country meet yesterday.
Harrison Krajewski led the Bucks with a 2nd-place finish, followed by Bryton Olson in 3rd. Yankton put four more runners in the top dozen finishers, Gabe Rock, Isaac Paulson, and Luke Feimer in 8th through 10th, with Ethan Brenden 12th.
The Gazelles placed 3rd as a team in the girls’ race. Yankton had two of the top three individual finishers with Rilyn Jackson 2nd and Abby Johanneson 3rd. Fellow Gazelle Delaney Youmans rounded out the top 5.
Next up for Yankton are the ESD Championships on October 11th in Mitchell.
Mount Marty Volleyball is back in action tonight, taking on the Dordt Defenders in Sioux Center, Iowa.

The Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats host Wausa/Osmond tonight in the Northeast Nebraska Game of the Week on KYNTV.
The Wildcats enter the contest with a 4-1 record following last week’s 52-30 loss to Crofton. On the opposite side of the field, the Vikings are perfect to start their season at 5-0.

Mount Marty Football looks to rebound coming off their bye week, as they welcome the #19-ranked Concordia Bulldogs to Yankton on Saturday.
