Mount Marty Volleyball returns home tonight, hosting Hastings College inside Cimpl Arena.
The Lancers are 6-6 so far this season, looking for their first GPAC win after a 3-1 loss to Doane on Saturday.

Yankton Gazelles Volleyball picked up another win last night, as they swept the Huron Tigers 3-0 in Yankton.
Yankton started strong, taking set one 25-21, before earning their largest margin of victory in set two, 25-14. Yankton completed the sweep as a Madison Gukeisen (Goo-ky-sen) kill ended the third set 25-20.
Yankton is now 3-6 on the season, with back-to-back wins in their last two matches. They will travel to Mitchell tomorrow to take on the Kernels.
Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Soccer swept Huron last night in their Class AA doubleheader.
The Gazelles picked up a 10-0 shutout over the Tigers, while the Bucks earned a 1-0 win, increasing their win streak to 5 straight.
Both Yankton teams return home tomorrow to host Mitchell. The Bucks play first at 5:00 with the Gazelles to follow. Coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 4:00.
Yankton Gazelles Tennis dropped both of their matchups yesterday during a triangular in Mitchell.
Yankton fell to Mitchell 5-4 and to Sioux Falls Lincoln 7-2. Sabrina Krajewski was undefeated on the day, going 4-0 across singles and doubles play.
Yankton will face Rapid City Christian and Sioux Falls Christian in a home event tomorrow. Matches begin at 10:00 AM.
Mount Marty Women’s Golf is 5th as a team after the opening day of the Siouxland Invite.
The Lancers were led by Abigail Greenhoff on day one, as she is tied for 5th individually at 8-over. Kamri Kittelson is also in the top 15, sitting tied for 13th heading into the final round.
The invite will conclude today.
Nineteen Mount Marty Athletic Programs were recognized as scholar-athlete teams by the NAIA earlier this week, for the 2024-25 academic year.
women’s golf, women’s cross country, women’s outdoor track & field, competitive cheer, women’s tennis, women’s volleyball, softball, women’s indoor track & field, men’s tennis, baseball, men’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, women’s soccer, men’s cross country, men’s golf, football, men’s outdoor track & field, and men’s indoor track & field were all selected for the Lancers.
To be honored, a program must have a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
South Dakota Coyotes Head Football Coach Travis Johansen will be the featured speaker at today’s Yankton Quarterback Club meeting at the River Rock Event Center.
Johansen is in his first year as head coach at USD, having taken over for longtime head coach Bob Nielson, who retired earlier this year.
Johansen and the Coyotes are 1-2 to start their season ahead of a home matchup with Drake this weekend.
A meal will be available for purchase beginning at 11:15, with speakers beginning at noon. The public is invited to attend.
