AAA SD Projects Travel Numbers to go Up for Fourth of July

AAA South Dakota is projecting more than 215,000 South Dakotans will travel more than 50 miles for the Fourth of July holiday.

Shawn Steward, with AAA South Dakota, says that number is up two percent from last year.

Steward says gas prices in South Dakota are down from this time last year.

AAA is projecting more than 72 million Americans to travel over the Fourth of July weekend.
