United Way of Greater Yankton raised $605,000 during its 2025 campaign.
Executive Director, Jesse Bailey, says while they fell short of their $700,000 goal, United Way will still be able to support their partner agencies this year.
Bailey says applications for the 2026 community impact grants are open now through August 1st, with a goal announcement coming in September.
Bailey says United Way’s Volunteer Engagement Coordinator position will be transitioning to part time in September due to DODGE cuts to the AmeriCorps RSVP grant program, which provided $80,000 annually.
