Yankton Bucks Baseball has their final home games of the regular season tomorrow, as they host Mitchell in a doubleheader.
Yankton enters with a 13-5 record in Class A play while Mitchell is 12-6. Yankton is 7th in the standings with Mitchell in 9th, ahead of next week’s regionals.
First pitch of game one is set for 6:00 PM tomorrow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 5:15. Bryce Ladwig and Brayden Butler will be on the call.
Yankton Track and Field will host their annual First Dakota Relays today at Williams Field.
Athletes from ten different schools are scheduled to compete. This will be the final meet for Yankton before the ESD Conference meet on May 17th in Harrisburg.
Field events begin with the Javelin at 11:30 AM. Running events are scheduled for 1:30 PM.
Mount Marty Track and Field travels to Seward, Nebraska, tomorrow for the Concordia Twilight Meet.
Tomorrow’s meet is the last opportunity for Lancer athletes to compete before the NAIA Outdoor Championships in two weeks.
Events are scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM tomorrow.
Yankton Gazelles Golf hosts their second home invitational of the week tomorrow morning at Fox Run Golf Course.
Athletes from fifteen schools are scheduled to compete in the invite. A shotgun start is scheduled for 10:00 AM tomorrow.
Yankton Gazelles Softball travels west this weekend for three games between Friday and Saturday.
Yankton will play one game tomorrow, taking on Rapid City Stevens in Rapid City. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM Mountain time.
Yankton will play two games on Saturday. One against Spearfish at 10:30 AM Mountain, and one against Sturgis at 2:00 PM. Saturday’s games will be held at the Keating Resources Sportsplex in Spearfish.
Yankton Bucks Tennis travels to Brookings on Saturday for a quadrangular with Brookings, Aberdeen Central, and Huron.
Matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. The Bucks will not play Brookings during the event.
