Mount Marty Baseball split their doubleheader with Dakota Wesleyan yesterday, losing game one 3-0 before winning game two 4-3.
Joe Gokie and Aidan Chang both recorded two hits in the loss. Jacob Walker pitched 5 and 2/3rds for the Lancers, striking out five batters.
The Lancers trailed 3-2 heading into their final trip to the plate. They would score twice in the top of the 7th thanks to RBIs from Shugo Kondo and Will Gardner.
MMU was scheduled to conclude their series today against Dakota Wesleyan, but those games will now be played on Sunday in Mitchell. The first pitch of game one is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
Yankton Bucks Baseball has once again had their weekend schedule adjusted, as Saturday’s doubleheader against Brookings has been moved to Sunday.
Yankton is undefeated to start the year at 3-0 following wins over Centerville and Lennox on March 28th.

Mount Marty Track and Field is scheduled to compete in Seward, Nebraska today and tomorrow at the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Concordia. This meet will be the first for the Lancers of the outdoor season.
Mount Marty Women’s Golf is scheduled to travel to Nebraska City, Nebraska today for the Peru State College Spring Invitational.
The two-day invite will run through tomorrow, and be held at Table Creek Golf Course.
