Mount Marty Men’s Basketball ended their two-game losing skid last night with a 69-57 victory over Midland.
Deegan Williams led or tied for the lead in points (20), rebounds (7), and assists (5) for the Lancers. Williams was also credited with a steal and a block.
The Lancers are back home on Saturday, as they host in-state rivals Dakota Wesleyan inside Cimpl Arena.
Mount Marty Women’s Basketball completed the season sweep of Midland last night with a 75-58 win over the Warriors.
Lacey Sprakel was dominant in the win, finishing the game 13 for 20 from the field for a game-high 30 points.
The Lancers improved to 8-11 in GPAC play with the win. They will host in-state rivals Dakota Wesleyan inside Cimpl Arena on Saturday for their next game.
The Yankton Bucks and Gazelles will host the Rapid City Stevens Raiders tomorrow night in a boys and girls basketball doubleheader.
The games will be held at the Summit Activities Center in Yankton. The girls are scheduled to play first at 6:00 PM with the boys to follow.

Mount Marty Competitive Cheer defeated Hastings and Doane last night in a triangular hosted by Hastings.
The Lancers scored 85.8 as a team to take 1st place. Doane was 2nd at 82.81, with Hastings placing 3rd.
The Lancers will travel to Orange City, Iowa, for their next competition. The two-day competition will be held at the Bultman Center beginning on Friday.
Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Tennis will take on Bethany Lutheran College tomorrow in Sioux Falls.
Matches are scheduled to begin at 11:45 AM.
Yankton Gazelles Wrestling travels to Brandon tonight for the Girls ESD Conference Wrestling Tournament.
Matches will be held at Brandon Valley High School, beginning at 5:00 PM.
Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics travels to Mitchell tomorrow night for the State Team Competition.
Events will be held at the Corn Palace beginning at 11:00 AM.
The Cedar Catholic Trojans host the Brattle Creek Braves tonight in a boys and girls basketball doubleheader.
