The Gazelles have their home opener tomorrow night, as they host the Pierre Governors at Sertoma Park at 6:00 PM.
Yankton Bucks Tennis suffered their first defeat of the season yesterday, as they split their triangular with Brandon Valley and Sioux Falls Roosevelt.
The Bucks fell to the Lynx 8-1 in their opening match. Jack Pedersen and Nels Hanson combined for the lone win for Yankton at flight three doubles.
The Bucks would bounce back, ending the day with a 9-0 sweep of Sioux Falls Roosevelt, with 6 matches ending 10-0 for Yankton.
The Bucks are on the road for their next triangular, as they take on Sioux Falls Jefferson and Milbank on Friday at Jefferson High School. Yankton’s matches are scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.
Yankton Track and Field added a meet to their schedule to make up for the cancellation of an event earlier this week.
The Bucks and Gazelles will now compete in Huron on Friday at the Huron Invitational. Field events begin at 2:00 PM with running events set for 3:30.
