The Yankton Bucks have adjusted their scheduled games for tomorrow and Friday due to forecasted weather.
Thursday’s home doubleheader against Spearfish has been rescheduled for April 11th. The game will be contested at a neutral site in Chamberlain.
Friday’s scheduled home doubleheader against Aberdeen has been canceled at this time.
Yankton Bucks Tennis improved to 7-0 yesterday with a pair of victories over Bishop Heelan and Vermillion.
The Bucks defeated Heelan 7-2 to start the day. Chris Rockne, Ethan Marsh, and Jack Pedersen each went 2-0 between singles and doubles play.
The Bucks would round out the triangular with an 8-1 win over Vermillion, sweeping doubles play.
Yankton is scheduled for another home triangular on April 7th against Brandon Valley and Sioux Falls Roosevelt.
Mount Marty University has announced more changes to their softball schedule due to forecasted weather this week.
Saturday’s doubleheader against Doane in Crete, Nebraska, has now been moved to April 14th.
The Lancers announced earlier this week that their doubleheader against Midland, which was scheduled for today, was moved to Monday, April 6th, at Sertoma Park.
Mount Marty Men’s Golf finished tied for 5th, going 1-2 at the Briar Cliff Spring Match Play in Sioux City, Iowa.
The Lancers defeated Midland 3-2 in the opening round, before falling to Northwestern 3-2 and Morningside 5-0.
Next up for the Lancer Men is the Bethany Invite in Sand Creek, Kansas, on April 6th and 7th.
The South Dakota Coyotes will host the Illinois State Redbirds tonight, with a trip to the WNIT Championship game on the line.
The Coyotes earned their spot in the Fab Four with wins over Northern Colorado (80-60), Pepperdine (73-57), and Montana State (65-56).
Illinois State had hosted every game up to this point in their run to the Fab Four, defeating the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley (81-52), Abilene Christian (59-55), and George Washington (61-53).
Tip-off from the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion is scheduled for 7:00 PM this evening.
The winner will meet either Arkansas State or Marshall in the WNIT Championship on April 4th.
