Governor Larry Rhoden and South Dakota legislators are continuing to attempt to find an agreement when it comes to the “big three” of public education, Medicaid, and state employees.
While the governor has proposed a one percent increase for each, District 18 Representative Mike Stevens says legislators are hoping for more.
Stevens says the pressure to get something passed is heating up as the session gets closer to the end.
Last year the “big three” got a one point two five percent increase.
