Yankton VFW to Form Committees to Look at Facility and Membership Issues

With issues of declining membership and an aging facility, the Yankton VFW Post 791 is weighing its options.

Post Commander, Anna Arnold, reiterated that the VFW is not shutting down, but a new facility may be an option.

Arnold says after a meeting on Tuesday, the VFW is putting together two committees to come up with potential solutions.

Arnold says the committees will present their report to members at the VFW’s May membership meeting.
