Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics finished their regular season last night, falling to Estelline-Hendricks 143.35-134.75.
Marissa Byrkeland led the Gazelles in the all-around competition, placing 3rd at 34.45. Byrkeland and Avery Portillo tied for 3rd on the floor with a 9.2. Portillo tied for 2nd on vault at 9.1, and Emma Gobel tied for 4th on bars at 8.05.
Next up for the Gazelles is the Class AA State Qualifying meet on Saturday in Watertown.
Wagner senior Ashlyn Koupal has become the first South Dakota girl ever selected to the McDonalds All American girls’ basketball game.
Koupal joins Mike Miller as the only South Dakota athletes selected for the event. The game will be held on March 31st in Phoenix, Arizona.
South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball returns to the floor tomorrow night to take on the Kansas City Roos in Kansas City.
Tip-off for the Summit League men’s basketball clash is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening.
South Dakota State Men’s Basketball will play their second of three straight home games tomorrow night, as they host St. Thomas in Brookings.
Tip-off from First Bank & Trust Arena between the Jacks and Tommies is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
South Dakota State Women’s Basketball travels to St. Paul, Minnesota, tomorrow night to take on St. Thomas.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
