A Watertown woman had to be airlifted to Sioux Falls after colliding with a semi near Meckling yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 2:40 two miles west of Meckling on Highway 50. The names the persons involved have not been released.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says the driver of a 2024 Kenworth was traveling westbound on Highway 50 in the left lane preparing to turn when the trailer was struck by the driver of a 2017 Dodge Caravan.
The driver of the Dodge was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital. The driver of the Kenworth was not injured.
