Mount Marty Men’s Basketball defeated Waldorf in a high-scoring affair on Saturday, 107-103.
The Lancers trailed at the halftime break, but a run of 15 straight made baskets to start the second half put them in the lead.
Jake Jensen led the Lancers with a game-high 33 points. In total, 6 of the 8 Lancers to take the floor scored in double figures.
The Lancers are back home on Wednesday to host Hastings in a men’s and women’s doubleheader.
Mount Marty Women’s Basketball was dominant on Saturday, defeating Waldorf 97-39 in Yankton.
Kaela Martinez scored a game-high 20 points, followed by 18 from Lacey Sprakel and 10 from Alexus Motley.

The Yankton Bucks and Gazelles host O’Gorman tomorrow night in a Class AA Boys and Girls Basketball Doubleheader.
Both Yankton squads are looking to bounce back after losses to Sioux Falls Jefferson last Tuesday.

Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics will travel to Sioux Falls this afternoon for a dual against O’Gorman.
Events will be held at Power and Grace Gymnastics, with the competition scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM.
Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Wrestling will be in Huron tomorrow night for a triangular against Huron and Tea Area.
Yankton will face Tea first at 5:00 PM before facing Huron. A rolling schedule will be used with matches held at Huron Arena.
The Mount Marty Lancers placed 4th on Saturday at the Dordt Competitive Cheer Invite in Sioux Center.
The Lancers scored a 64.27 as a team, finishing ahead of GPAC foes Waldorf and Concordia, as well as York and Mount Mercy.
The Lancers are off until February 7th when they travel to Seward, Nebraska.
South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball fell to the St. Thomas Tommies on Saturday, 90-78.
Jordan Crawford led the Coyotes in scoring with 22 points. Uzziah Buntyn (13), Ethan Kizer (11), and Cameron Fens (10) also cracked double digits in scoring.
The Coyotes are back home again on Thursday, as they host Oral Roberts in Vermillion.
South Dakota Coyotes Women’s Basketball fell to 5-2 in conference play on Saturday with a 79-56 loss to North Dakota State.
Jenna Hopp and Angelina Robles tied for a team-high in scoring with 12 points each. Robles also led in assists with 4.
The Coyotes will host St. Thomas on Wednesday, January 28th, inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
South Dakota State Women’s Basketball picked up a 76-63 road win over the Kansas City Roos over the weekend.
Brooklyn Meyer nearly recorded a double-double with 25 points and 8 rebounds. Madison Mathiowetz (Math-o-wits) finished with 18 points and 7 assists for the Jacks.
SDSU is back home on Wednesday, as they host the Omaha Mavericks.
