The Yankton Bucks host the Sioux Falls Jefferson Cavaliers tonight in a Class AA Boys Basketball matchup.
The Bucks are 1-7 on the year following Friday’s 59-51 loss to the Watertown Arrows. The Cavaliers are in the middle of the pack in the class at 3-4.

Yankton Gazelles Basketball travels to Sioux Falls this evening to take on the Jefferson Cavaliers.
Yankton and Jefferson enter the matchup ranked closely in Class AA. The Cavs are 11th at 3-5, while the Gazelles are 14th at 2-5.

The Mount Marty Lancers travel to Crete, Nebraska, tomorrow night for a GPAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball doubleheader against the Doane Tigers.
The Tigers swept the Lancers when the two universities met on December 17th in Yankton, 81-67 in the women’s game and 68-65 in the men’s game.

The Yankton Gazelles defeated the Vermillion Tanagers last night in their gymnastics dual, 134.3-120.9.
The Gazelles took 5 of the top 6 spots in the all-around competition, led by a 33.7 from Avery Portillo. In individual events, Portillo placed 1st in floor with an 8.8, Emma Gobel was 1st in beam with an 8.6 and vault with an 8.9, and Burkley Olson was 1st on bars with an 8.45.
The Gazelles travel to Hendricks, Minnesota, on Thursday for their next dual against Estelline-Hendricks.
Yankton High School Basketball Coaches Chris Haynes (Bucks) and Blake Savey (Gazelles) will be the featured guest speakers at tomorrow’s Yankton Quarterback Club Meeting at the River Rock Event Center.
A meal will be available for purchase beginning at 11:15 AM, with the meeting set to begin at noon. The public is invited to attend.
The Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats take on the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears tonight in a boys and girls basketball doubleheader.
