The Yankton Bucks host the Huron Tigers tonight for a Class AA Boys Basketball clash inside the Summit Activities Center.
The Bucks are coming off back-to-back losses last week to Vermillion and Mitchell. Huron enters 5th in Class AA at 5-2.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM this evening. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:30 with Brayden Butler on the call.
Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics placed third in last night’s Harrisburg triangular, scoring 133.05 as a team.
Marissa Byrkeland led the Gazelles in the all-around competition with a 33.4. Avery Portillo had the two highest individual event finishes for Yankton, tying for 7th in the floor exercise and tying with Byrkeland for 9th on vault.
Next up for the Gazelles is the Huron Invitational on Friday. Events are set to begin at 5:00 PM at the Tiger Activity Center.
The Yankton Bucks and Gazelles travel to Tyndall tonight for a pair of duals with the Cavaliers.
The girls will take the mats first at 7:00 PM, with the boys to follow at 8:00. Matches will be held at Bon Homme High School.
Adult and student all-session tickets for the 2026 South Dakota State Wrestling Tournament, Feb. 26-28 in Sioux Falls, are now available for purchase at the Yankton School District Administration Building at 2410 West City Limits Road.
Tickets are available for purchase during regular business hours through Friday at 4:30 p.m. Payment is due when the order is submitted. No credit or debit cards will be accepted.
The Cedar Catholic Trojans host the Wynot Blue Devils tonight in a boys and girls basketball doubleheader.
The girls play first at 6:00 PM, with the boys to follow. Coverage on KYNTV begins at 5:45 with Tehl Tanner on the call.
South Dakota Men’s Basketball coach Eric Peterson and Mount Marty Athletic Director Andy Bernatow will be the featured speakers at tomorrow’s Yankton Quarterback Club meeting at the River Rock Event Center.
Peterson is in his 3rd season as Coyotes head coach, having tallied a 52-62 record so far at USD. The Coyotes are 9-9 so far this season.
A meal will be available for purchase beginning at 11:15 AM, with the meeting scheduled for noon. The public is invited to attend.
