Mount Marty Men’s Basketball fell in a close game with Doane last night, 68-65, inside Cimpl Arena.

Sutton Arend led the Lancers with 29 points and 4 steals in the loss. Jackson Edman added a team-high 9 rebounds.

The Lancers have an exhibition game up next on December 28th against USD, before returning to GPAC play on January 3rd against Morningside.

Mount Marty Women’s Basketball was defeated by the Doane Tigers last night, 81-67, in a GPAC matchup.

Kaela Martinez led MMU with 12 points. Lacey Sprakel and Alexus Motley each had 11, with Alexis Folkers adding 10.

The Lancers travel to Arizona for their next two games against non-conference opponents, beginning this Saturday against Nelson University in Phoenix, Arizona.

Yankton Bucks Basketball has their final game before the holiday break tomorrow night, taking on the Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots at Lincoln High School.

The Bucks are 0-2 on the year, coming off their loss to Sioux Falls Washington on Tuesday. The Patriots are currently the #1 team in Class AA at 2-0.

Tip-off from Lincoln High School is set for 7:00 PM. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:30 with Brayden Butler on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics has a varsity dual against the Harrisburg Tigers this afternoon at River City Gymnastics & Cheer.

Events between the Gazelles and defending Class AA Champion Tigers begin at 5:30 PM.

Yankton Gazelles Wrestling has a varsity invitational at Sioux Valley High School tomorrow afternoon.

Matches are scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM on Friday.

South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball picked up their second straight win last night, defeating Dakota State 80-71.

Isaac Bruns once again led the Coyotes in scoring with 23 points. Cameron Fens recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double.

The Coyotes travel to Manhattan, Kansas, on Saturday for their next game against the Kansas State Wildcats. Tip-off is set for 11:00 AM.

South Dakota Coyotes Women’s Basketball dropped their first game of the Malibu Classic last night, losing to Pepperdine 73-65.

Elise Turrubiates (terr-OO-bee-AH-tays) posted 19 points to lead the Coyotes. Angelina Robles, 13, and Patience Williams, 11, also scored in double figures.

The Coyotes look to end their three-game losing streak tonight, as they round out the Malibu Classic against Texas-Rio Grande Valley. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM Central.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball takes on the Milwaukee Panthers tomorrow night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Tip-off from the Fiserv Forum is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

South Dakota State Women’s Basketball is in Durham, North Carolina, today to take on Duke.

Tip-off between the Jackrabbits and the Blue Devils is set for 6:00 PM Central/7:00 PM Eastern this evening.
