Weight Limit Restrictions Adjusted on 23rd and Cedar Street Bridges

The City of Yankton is adjusting weight limit restrictions to two bridges after its annual bridge inspection report.

Lucas Johnson with Banner Engineering, the company that conducted the inspection, says limit restrictions will be adjusted on the 23^rd Street and Cedar Street bridges.

The 23^rd Street bridge will be going under construction in early 2026. The city is attempting to apply for a Bridge Application Grant to help with construction funding for the Cedar Street bridge.
