First Dakota National Bank Provided $700,000 in Loans to Federal Employees Impacted by Government Shutdown

During the federal shutdown First Dakota National Bank provided nearly $700,000 in interest-free loans through their Federal Employee Shutdown Relief Program.

First Dakota CFO Rob Ness says they were happy to help those employees through a difficult time.

Ness says the average loan amount was $10,000 per person.

The federal shutdown was the longest in U.S. history, lasting 43 days.
