First Dakota National Bank is providing interest-free loans to federal employees affected by the government shutdown.
First Dakota CFO, Rob Ness, says the goal of the program is to provide continuity until things are worked out in Washington.
Ness says First Dakota started the program during a government shutdown in 2019.
Ness says they will provide relief in First Dakota service communities across the state impacted by the shutdown.
Ness says First Dakota has set aside $10 million to provide relief to federal staff.
