Mount Marty Volleyball fell in a three-set sweep last night to the #3-ranked Northwestern Red Raiders in Orange City, Iowa.
Julia Weber led the Lancers in almost every stat category, posting team highs in aces (1) and assists (16) while tying for the team lead in blocks and kills with Caitlin Guenther.
The Lancers are now 10-12 overall, 3-8 in GPAC play. They will travel to Seward, Nebraska, next Wednesday for a matchup with the Concordia Bulldogs.
Mount Marty Men’s Soccer played to a scoreless draw last night in their GPAC matchup with the Doane Tigers.
Both teams registered ten shots on goal, with neither being able to find the back of the net. Esteban Gomez made 10 saves for the Lancers, with Curtis Oberg recording 9 saves for the Tigers.

Yankton Cross Country has their final meet of the regular season this afternoon at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron.
The varsity girls will run first at 4:00 PM, with the varsity boys’ race to follow. A rolling schedule will be in effect.
Yankton Competitive Cheer and Dance travels to Brookings today for the ESD Conference Meet.
The competition will be held at Brookings High School, with events scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM.
Yankton Gazelles Volleyball returns home tonight to host the Pierre Governors inside the Summit Activities Center.
The Gazelles will play in front of their home crowd for the first time in nearly a month, with their last home match being a 3-0 sweep of Vermillion on September 22nd.
