There was a ribbon cutting for the new Clay County Law Enforcement Center and Jail yesterday.
Vermillion Mayor, John Cole, says the Clay County Sheriff’s Department and the Vermillion Police Department will share the facility.
Cole says the facility has state of the art features.
The 54,000 square-foot facility also includes 54 beds, with the potential to add more in the future.
