Avera Sacred Heart cut the ribbon on its newly expanded podiatry clinic on Friday and officially introduced two new doctors who will staff the expansion: Kayla and Johnathon Yazhari . Kayla Yazhari, who is originally from Corsica, says the couple’s efforts to return to the area were rewarded by an offer from Avera.
Yazhari says having a husband wife team working the same specialty in the same office has advantages for patients.
Yazhari says doubling the number of podiatrists at Avera will help the doctors make more timely appointments and allow them all to spend more time with each patient. The podiatry clinic is located on the second floor of the Avera Pavilion just south of the hospital.
