Yankton Bucks Football will host the Pierre Governors tonight, in a rematch of last year’s 11AA Playoff Semi-Final.
Both teams enter the contest with a 3-1 record. The Bucks dropped their first game of the year to Harrisburg this past weekend, while the Governors are coming off a 20-17 win over Brookings.
Kickoff for tonight’s Homecoming game is set for 7:00 PM at Crane-Youngworth Field. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:00 with Brayden Butler and Josh Boelter on the call.
Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Soccer will host Aberdeen Central tomorrow in a Class AA doubleheader.
Tomorrow’s games will be the final home games of the regular season for the Bucks and Gazelles.

Yankton Gazelles Tennis split their triangular in Sioux Falls yesterday, defeating Sioux Falls Washington 7-2 before falling to Harrisburg 6-3.
Yankton swept the Warriors in doubles play. Nora and Sabrina Krajewski, Karalyn Koerner, Meagan Scott, and Elise Koller each won in singles play as well.

Next up for the Gazelles is the ESD Conference Tournament, Monday and Tuesday in Yankton.
The Yankton Gazelles swept the top-6 spots in yesterday’s Cross Country race at Fox Run Golf Course, taking 1st as a team in the event.
Nora Youmans took home 1st in the event, followed by Avery Wuestewald, Rilyn Jackson, Abby Johanneson, Delaney Youmans, and Kahlen Peterson.
The Bucks took half of the top-10 spots in the boys race, led by a 4th place finish for Bryton Olson. Harrison Krajewski was 6th, Luke Feimer 8th, Ethan Brendan 9th, and Isaac Paulson 10th.
Yankton will travel to South Sioux City for their next competition on October 1st.
Mount Marty Volleyball returns to Cimpl Arena tomorrow afternoon for a GPAC matchup with the Waldorf Warriors.
The Lancers are 8-8 on the year, 1-4 in GPAC play, following their 3-1 loss to the College of Saint Mary earlier this week.
First serve is scheduled for 3:00 PM tomorrow afternoon.
Yankton Gazelles Volleyball travels to Aberdeen tomorrow afternoon for an ESD Conference matchup with the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles.
First serve of the varsity match from Aberdeen Central High School is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Soccer continue GPAC play tomorrow night, hosting Dordt at Crane-Youngworth Field.
The men’s game will be held first, with the women to follow. Kickoff for the doubleheader is set for 5:00 PM.
The Crofton Warriors host Hartington-Newcastle tonight in a Nebraska High School Football affair.

The Coyotes enter conference play 2-2 following their 42-21 win over Drake last week. The Bison enter as the #1 team in the FCS with a 3-0 record.
Kickoff from the Fargo Dome is set for 1:00 PM tomorrow.
The South Dakota State Jackrabbits return from their bye week tomorrow for a non-conference matchup with Mercyhurst.
The Jackrabbits are 3-0 to start their season, following their 37-21 win over Drake two weeks ago.
