SD DOT Installing Traffic Light at Highway 52 and Deer Boulevard Intersection

The South Dakota Department of Transportation is in the process of installing a traffic light at the intersection of Highway 52 and Deer Boulevard.

Greg Rothschadl, with the SD DOT, says Yankton County made an inquiry to the DOT, which jumpstarted the project.

Rothschadl says the traffic light should improve safety at that intersection.

Rothschadl says the traffic light is expected to be fully operational within the next week.
